First Year Student Focus

LCM is a great place to meet people, get connected, and start your college experience! The first year can be challenging, but LCM offers you a support system with the faith and commitment to help ensure your first year to be successful. Through events, retreats, Bible conversations, worship, and community service opportunities, LCM not only provides a strong foundation throughout your college years, but prepares you for your future as well.

Finding LCM

LCM is located at Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church, down Grand Ave. from Cal Poly near the corner of Fredericks and Grand (turn right on Fredericks and look for our LCM entrance on the left). A walk away from the dorms! Whether you are looking to meet with other students who share similar values, someone to talk to, a place to hang out, a computer to use, free food, or a change of scenery, we are here for you.

Check out our Google calendar for upcoming events and meeting information. If you have any questions or concerns regarding any of the events or meetings please feel free to contact us at info@lcmslo.org.
