Inspiring Service

"I shall pass through this world but once. Any good therefore that I can do or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again." - Mahatma Gandhi

"It is when the church gives itself away in radical acts of service and compassion, expecting nothing in return, that the way of Jesus is most vividly put on display." - Rob Bell

LCM offers many opportunities so that your light may be shared with others. If you are inspired to help, feel a need for your voice to be heard, or to make a difference within in the world but don’t know where to begin, LCM is the place to start. See our calendar for details.

Spring Break Trips

The past few years we've travelled to New Orleans, Mexico City, Minnesota, and Texas to help with disaster relief and learn about the connections between faith and social justice. In 2010, we helped build homes with our sister church in Tijuana, Mexico.  In 2011, students are encouraged to serve with their Calpoly community in a variety of service trips and opportunities.
