Expanding our minds is not just about challenging ourselves and others to see faith, scripture and the world through a wider lens. We also have a lot of fun and expand our minds and spirits through:
Weekly Bible Conversation
Tuesdays @ 8pm in the LCM Space at Mt. Carmel. Led each week by students and/or Pastor Marj or Intern Gretchen. We explore contemporary issues for students through the lens of scripture. Fall 2011 we are focusing on the last book in the Bible - Revelation. Pastor Marj will facilitate a discussion of The Rapture Exposed: Will the World End in 2012?
Ecumenical/Interfaith Events
Guest speakers, events, and conversations with students and adults from other Christian denominations and other faiths

FREE Monthly BBQs
On the 1st Sunday of every month after church, Mt. Carmel’s “Road Kill Grill” cooks an amazing, free tri-tip and chicken BBQ in Mt. Carmel Park next to the church.
FREE Finals Week Pancakes
On the Monday night of finals week each quarter, come for an awesome study break of free pancakes. Fall Quarter's Pancake Palooza will be on Dec. 5.
